Look at that face, how cute is he? Especially in her Halloween costume. This is Oreo and it`s not hard to see how she got the name. She is one adorable black and white pooch. Oreo is a 2-year-old, Australian Shepherd mix who was surrendered on October 2 to the SPCA of Texas. Her family brought her here because they suspected she was pregnant, and they did not want her to have puppies. Her owners kept Oreo as an outside dog, and unfortunately had not taken her to get spayed. But she is now! Oreo is a very friendly, lovable girl who gets along well with kids. She's a very adaptable, easygoing pup who is eager to please and love her new family. Please come meet her and see if you would like for Oreo to become a member of your family.  TRIGG!

This sweet guy is Trigg, a 1-year-old, Terrier mix. He's playful, affectionate and very loving, and as you can tell, he loves to dress up for Halloween! He was transferred to the SPCA of Texas on September 28, and he has been waiting for his new home ever since. Trigg is a spunky, happy-go-lucky pup, who is eager to please his new family. Hi there, my name is Polly, and I'm a beautiful, tan and brown Shepherd mix waiting for my loving, new family to come take me home. I'm two years old, and I have the sweetest personality, and I'm very well mannered. I'm very calm, and I get along well with children and other dogs too. I love to cuddle and stand on my hind legs and give you hugs too. I was surrendered by my owners on September 11, because they did not have time to give me the proper training I need. Since I am still a young pup, I need my own toys to play with and chew on so I don't play with yours. I also need a little help with houstraining, but I love treats, so I know I will master that quickly with positive reinforcement. I also like my crate, and I feel safe in there as long as I have some toys to keep me company. Crate training is another great way to help me learn where to go to the bathroom. I'm such a loving girl, I hope you come visit me soon so we can cuddle and play all day long.

She was surrendered by her owner on August 19 because she was having a little trouble learning where to go to the bathroom. But she just knows with the proper training and positive reinforcement, she will be able to pick that up very quickly. Her human friends here at the SPCA of Texas say that crate training will be the key to her success. She's a very affectionate girl, and although she's a young pup, shes doesn't require lots and lots of activity. She's a pretty mellow girl. She would probably do best in a home without children, dogs or cats, as they tend to make her a little nervous. But she is really loving with adults, and she would just fit right into your home. This little guy is Jet, and he's an adorable 6-month-old kitten. He is a really special kitty because he was rescued from the engine of a jet at Love Field when he was just three months old! The nice people who rescued him were unable to keep him, so they brought Jet here to the SPCA of Texas on August 24 to find his new, loving home. He's a solid black, Domestic Shorthair kitten with beautiful green eyes. He is extremely affectionate and laidback, and he loves being held. He also gets along well with other cats and children, but he has never met any dogs before. He is a young guy so he loves to play and puuurrrr too! Please come visit Jet soon.

This cutie pie is Duke, a 2-month-old, American Bulldog mix. He and his littermates were surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on August 2 because his owner was not able to give him or his siblings the proper care or medical attention they deserved. Duke is a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly with treats and a little TLC. He will most likely grow to be a nice, medium sized boy. He still has a playful, puppy attitude and will need a caring and patient owner to train him and help him build the confidence he needs to grow up to be a big, strong pup. All of Duke's siblings have been adopted, and now he is waiting for his loving home at the SPCA of Texas.

Hi friends! His name is Apachey, and he's a 6-month-old, male, Border Collie mix who was transferred to the SPCA of Texas on August 9 to find his new, loving home. He has a beautiful, blonde coat and a cute, fluffy tail to match. He has lots of fur, so he will need to be brushed frequently so he doesn't get matted. It will also help him not to shed as much! He' a very friendly pup, and he gets along with everyone he meets. He has never lived with any dogs, cats or kids, so make sure you bring the whole family when you come down to visit Apachey. My name is Darcey, and how do you like that grin on my face? I’ll grin even more if you will come down to the SPCA of Texas and give me a new, forever home. I’m a 2-year-old, female Pug/Pomeranian mix who has been here since July 25. My previous owner said I play a little rough with other animals, so it will probably be best if I am the only pet in the house. But I love kids, they are so much fun to play with! Well this little lad is Cinnamon! An adorable, 13-year-old white and tan Pappion. He has the fluffiest little tail and an irrestistible, million dollar smile. Cinnamon may be a little more mature, but he still has lots of that lovable. puppy energy and will be a great companion for many years to come. He is already housebroken and leash trained, and he would prefer to be the only pet of the family. Cinnamon would also do best in a family of adults with no children. Cinnamon is a happy-go-lucky, cuddle bug waiting for his new, forever home. Do you have a lap to share with this little one?
